My oldest niece (Junior) had an emergency appendectomy tonight...at around 1am. I just got home from the hospital. I will update when I'm more coherent...that could be awhile.

At least it's gone and done now instead of it happening on Christmas Eve or something. Best wishes for a speedy recovery! And upgraded Christmas presents since she had to have surgery...
I'm sorry to hear about your niece. That has always been my biggest fear! Since Kinneygarten!! That my appendix would burst and I would have to have surgery or worse.
My fear was so bad that I would wake up my Granny to tell her everytime I had a pain in my side, she always said it was just gas. Me and my appendix are still together after 4aaahhh....35...ish years.
